Dazzling performance by China of Beijing Olympics

Delivered with dazzling acrobatory and graphical wizardry, Mainland China showed of its global cridentials. The CCP is not the bad party the west oft wishes to potray it as. It need not necessarily lose out if it were to democratise the political system. Taiwan provides an example of China mature enough for democracy. The PLA would obviously require ground rules where any competitor parties would be federal and would respect the law. While the CCP as achieved much it needs to release its greed for political office and follow its KMT brother. After all what has it to fear with over 50 years of experience and achievements compared with newcomer parties to offer the Chinese public. Such a democratisition could enable Taiwan to rejoin Mainland china in a federal system similar to the USA with leading Ministerships from Tibet, Hong Kon, Taiwan and Shanghai and other popular rejoins represented.
