Subsidised Free-to-air option, great number of channels, almost 100% coverage nationwide, High Definition channels, reduced price Sky+ box.

Negatives:

Little Irish content on Sky channels, exit and lack of commitment to Irish news. DTT provides some options in this regard for reintroduction.

Expensive subscription options with change only resulting from entry of a new platform introducing soon.
